The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, is set to unveil his manifesto, tagged Oyo AHEAD (Itayo Oyo), at a stakeholders’ event in Ibadan on Tuesday.

The presentation will take place at Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite the main gate of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, with political leaders and representatives of various groups expected to attend.

In a statement, Director of Media and Publicity of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO), Bisi Oladele, said the event would mark the formal presentation of Alli’s development blueprint for the state.

Those expected include representatives of the organised private sector, labour unions, community development associations, farmers, students, artisans, academics, traders, women’s groups and non-indigenes.

All APC candidates contesting the 2027 elections in the state, alongside party leaders, are also expected at the event.

According to the statement, Alli will present the manifesto sector by sector, outlining his proposed plans for different areas of governance and development.

Oyo AHEAD practical, people-centred — Alli

The campaign organisation described Oyo AHEAD as a practical, people-centred roadmap aimed at improving the state’s development indicators and restoring its pace-setting status.
