The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated former Senate Leader, Teslim Folarin, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a pillar of the party in the state.
Alli, in a birthday message personally signed by him, praised Folarin’s political experience, loyalty and contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria.
He described the former Senate Leader as an exceptional political leader and statesman whose years in public service had strengthened the progressive movement.
Alli said Folarin’s tenure as Senate Leader and his involvement in party affairs had established him as an influential figure whose experience remained valuable to the APC.
He also commended Folarin’s ability to mobilise political structures, build relationships and provide strategic direction, saying these qualities had continued to strengthen the party in Oyo State.
The APC governorship candidate particularly praised Folarin’s role in promoting President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his position as the President’s campaign coordinator in Oyo State reflected his political influence and organisational capacity.
“Sen. Teslim Folarin is more than a political leader; he is an institution whose political experience, courage, resilience and understanding of the dynamics of governance have continued to enrich our great party,” Alli said.
He described Folarin as a dependable ally and strategic voice in the APC’s efforts to reposition Oyo State, adding that his contributions to the party and Nigeria’s democratic development deserved recognition.
Alli also acknowledged Folarin’s sacrifices and commitment to party unity, expressing confidence that his experience would remain valuable to the APC’s ambition to provide inclusive and people-oriented leadership in the state.
