Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has caused a stir after claiming he was arrested by Nigerian immigration officials.
Recall that in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Bobrisky shared the news of his alleged arrest, prompting concern and curiosity among his followers.
However, in a follow-up post, he revealed that the entire claim was an April Fool’s joke.
This comes months after Bobrisky announced his departure from Nigeria, citing the need to focus on his health and well-being.
His decision to leave was reportedly linked to his arrest in April of the previous year, when he was sentenced to six months in prison for allegedly abusing the naira.
