BREAKING: Fire Guts 15 Shops, Destroys Goods Worth Millions At Ibadan’s Bodija Market
Goods worth millions of naira have been destroyed after a fire gutted 15 shops at Bodija Market in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, in the early hours of Monday.

The fire affected 15 shops out of a row of 44, with flames and thick smoke engulfing the affected premises.
Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the incident, saying firefighters were mobilised to the market immediately after receiving a distress call.
According to Akinwande, the fire was caused by an electrical surge. No casualty was recorded in the incident.
The extent of damage to the affected shops and the goods stored in them has yet to be fully established.
